China’s A00 aluminium ingot price contracts by RMB400/t to RMB 18,5602/t; Low carbon aluminium price descends by RMB370/t

On Tuesday, August 30, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price dropped by RMB 400 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,560 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 18,540 per tonne and RMB 18,580 per tonne, with spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB 60 to RMB 20 per tonne.

The price in Wuxi and Hangzhou has declined by RMB 400 per tonne, scoring at RMB 18,540 per tonne and RMB 18,590 per tonne. In Foshan and Linyi, the price descended by RMB 370 per tonne to record at RMB 18,420 per tonne and RMB 18,590 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the price in Gongyi and Chongqing plunged by RMB 360 per tonne and RMB 340 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,470 per tonne and RMB 18,540 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Tianjin and Shenyang went down by RMB 330 per tonne and RMB 320 per tonne, respectively, to rest at RMB 18,580 per tonne.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium in China has decreased by RMB 370 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,028 per tonne.

As per the SMM data, the high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price plummeted by RMB 400 per tonne to settle at RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 27,700 per tonne.

The aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price has gone down by RMB 100 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 20,200 per tonne. The average price for aluminium alloy (ADC12) is expected to orbit between RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 19,300 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average price is likely to range between RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has plunged by RMB 400 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,950 per tonne, with the average price expected to orbit between RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne.

The aluminium powder price in China has inched down by RMB 0.4 per kg to close at RMB 20.5 per kg, with the average prices likely to hover between RMB 20.4 per kg to RMB 20.6 per kg.
