China Shanxi discovers huge bauxite resources in 2015

Shanxi Province, one of China’s major alumina producing regions, discovered vast bauxite resources in 2015, according to a spokesperson of the local Ministry of Land & Resources.
The province discovered 30 million tonnes of bauxite resources during 2015, bringing total discovery of the aluminum smelting mineral resources to 324 million tonnes, according to the source.
