China's SPIC and Henan Shenhuo collaborate on alumina production

Headquartered in China, the State Power Investment Corp Ltd (SPIC) had signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Henan Shenhuo Group on September 28. The alliance was signed under the presence of Feng Jianqing, Party secretary and chairman of the State Power Investment Aluminium Power Company, Li Wei, Party secretary and chairman of Henan Shenhuo Group, Zhao Mingjie, Party member and deputy general manager of Aluminium Power Company, and Zhang Wenzhang, Party member of Shenhuo Group and general manager of Shenhuo Shares.

Based on the agreement, both parties will uphold the principle of "complementary advantages, mutual benefit, long-term cooperation, and common development." They will leverage their respective strengths to engage in comprehensive and multi-level collaboration in areas such as bauxite development, alumina production, new energy initiatives, and international projects to foster the establishment and growth of strategic cooperation. This endeavour seeks to provide fresh momentum for the high-quality advancement of enterprises.

Before the signing ceremony, both parties presented their respective production and operational situations and development objectives. Subsequently, they engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding strategies to advance the primary business towards achieving high-quality growth. The activity was attended by the heads of pertinent departments and relevant people from both parties.
