
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has continued to decrease for the second straight day to come close to RMB 19,000 per tonne. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the price has plunged by RMB 290 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,040 per tonne on Tuesday, July 20.The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,020 per tonne and RMB 19,060 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 40-0 per tonne.

Among the major Chinese cities, Wuxi has also seen a downfall of RMB 290 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,040 per tonne, while the price in Hangzhou has decreased by RMB 285 per tonne to RMB 19,050 per tonne. In Foshan and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has dwindled by RMB 270 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,130 per tonne and RMB 19,050 per tonne, followed by the decrease of RMB 265 per tonne in Chongqing to RMB 19,060 per tonne and RMB 260 per tonne in Gongyi to RMB 18,950 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin, primary aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 250 per tonne and RMB 220 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,050 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has sharply decreased by RMB 300 per tonne to RMB 19,650 per tonne on July 20, found SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,600 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have declined by RMB 50 per tonne to close at RMB 18,650 per tonne and RMB 19,650 per tonne, respectively, as of July 20.
Among primary aluminium input costs, caustic soda (50% concentration) Shandong price has gained RMB 130 per tonne to stand at RMB 1,045 per tonne, while aluminium powder price has inched down by RMB 0.30 per kg to come in at RMB 22.55 per kg.
