As of Thursday July 19, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2425 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2425 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2446per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2446 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2430 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2430 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1449325 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 897125 tonnes and Cancelled Warrants were 552200 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2486.07per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE decreased to stand at US$ 2931 per tonne on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
The most-liquid SHFE 2108 aluminium contract finished the day 1.13% lower at RMB19,275 per tonne on Monday. The base metals broadly declined overnight due to the strengthening of the US dollar. The contract fell 2.04% to settle at RMB18,975 per tonne on Monday night.
