Bruno Presezzi launches new strip casting line

Bruno Presezzi SpA, an Italian engineering and manufacturing company of machinery for the production and processing of aluminium and zinc strip, has recently completed the commissioning of a new casting line at Asturiana de Laminados SA (Spain) for the production of zinc and zinc alloys strip.
The caster features the latest design of the well known Bruno Presezzi rolls with cooling grooves on the shells, with improved thermal exchange surface and high thermal conductivity shell steel ASG2.
The caster also features advanced technology for automation (open gap with AGC) and represents a new benchmark for strip quality, productivity and width (up to 1400mm) in the field of zinc flat rolled products.
