
Brazil has the third-best advanced industrial sector in The Americas. The Latin American nation’s one-third of GDP has been contributed by its diverse industries range from automobiles, steel and petrochemicals to computers, aircraft, and consumer durables.

Brazil’s import of aluminium tubes and pipes during 2017-19 was recorded at 5014 tonnes and the expenditure occurred stood at $24.72 million. The import for 2020 has been analysed to remain at 3077 tonnes and expenditure to stand at $14.56 million. However, when the 2020 import volume and expenditures get added with the existing three years it depicts 8091 tonnes and $39.28 million respectively.

In 2017, the import of aluminium tubes and pipes remained at 2600 tonnes and foreign revenue expenditure recorded was $12.48 million, whereas, in 2018, the import saw dip by 56.11%, as the import volume fell to 1141 tonnes and expenditure also slumped to $5.83 million.

Brazil’s import in 2019, depicted with growth by 11.56%, as the import volume rose to 1273 tonnes and expenditure also picked up and reached to $6.41 tonnes.
The projected for 2020 has been analysed with upswing by 141.71%, as the import is expected to reach at 3077 tonnes and expenditures to outreach $14.56 million.
