Baotou Aluminum secures its first international foreign invention patent in Nigeria

Baotou Aluminum has recently secured an international invention patent for an "aluminium electrolytic process adjustment method" and has obtained an invention patent authorisation certificate in Nigeria, marking the company's first foreign invention patent authorisation.

Baotou Aluminum secures its first international patent in Nigeria

This patented method involves predicting the operational trends of the electrolytic cell by analysing voltage deviation and voltage noise deviation values. By doing so, it allows for the implementation of control measures to adjust the electrolytic cell pre-emptively, thereby preventing significant fluctuations.

The method focuses on controlling the working voltage, aluminium fluoride feeding conditions, and aluminium output tasks. This approach enhances the electrolytic cell's operational efficiency while ensuring swift stabilisation.

Since 2024, the company has acquired three domestic invention patents: an annealing method for high-plasticity 4043 aluminium alloy rods, an annealed 4043 aluminium alloy rod and its applications, and an electromagnetic energy buffer chute device for aluminium alloy grain refinement.

They have also developed a simulated teaching device for operating and maintaining the aluminium electrolysis power supply rectification automation system. Additionally, the company has obtained 22 utility model patents and one design patent.
