Baheti Recycling recorded net total revenue of INR 2.54 billion (USD 26.6 million) in Q1 FY27, compared with INR 1.34 billion (USD 14.09 million) in Q1 FY26, translating into an 88.9 per cent Y-o-Y increase.  The sharp jump is a major improvement in the company’s top line at the beginning of the new financial year.

Managing Director Yash Shah stated, “We have commenced FY27 on a strong note with robust growth across our core business segments.”

He attributed the performance to “sustained demand for recycled aluminium products, improved operational efficiencies” and the expansion of the company’s product portfolio.

Alloy ingots and De-Ox business hold firm

The company’s established businesses continued to provide the bulk of its revenue. Alloy Ingots was Baheti Recycling’s biggest revenue earner, bringing in INR 1.49 billion (USD 15.65 million) in Q1 FY27.

The De-Ox business contributed INR 638 million (USD 6.7 million), reaffirming its importance in the company’s operations. The performance of these two segments and the early contribution from Copper Alloy Ingots helped to lift overall revenues in the quarter.

Management sees more room to grow

Management noted that its strong start to FY27 was driven by healthy demand across its core aluminium recycling business, a better product mix and efficient execution. Shah mentioned, “We remain focused on expanding our manufacturing capabilities, increasing the contribution of value-added products and capitalising on the growing demand for sustainable recycled metals.”

It also announced the start of sales of Copper Alloy Ingot, a move to broaden the company’s value-added product portfolio.

As of Q2, Baheti Recycling sees growing industrial preference for sustainable recycled aluminium as a long-term opportunity and plans to continue strengthening its manufacturing capabilities and customer relationships.
