Notably, the company earned an impressive 'B' rating, surpassing both global industry averages and the worldwide metal industry benchmark.

In the latest evaluation by CDP, a London-based international non-profit organisation, Assan Aluminyum, a subsidiary of the Kibar Group and a key player in the European aluminium foil manufacturing arena, demonstrated exceptional environmental performance. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone, making Assan Aluminyum the first company in Turkey to report on climate change and environmental performance through CDP.

The General Manager of Assan Aluminyum, Göksal Güngör, expressed delight at the noteworthy results achieved in the CDP evaluation. "Participating for the first time in 2023, we garnered a 'B' score, surpassing both global averages and the global metal industry standard. This feat underlines our commitment to environmental stewardship and climate change mitigation."

Becoming Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Certified
