ASI grants Performance Standard V3 and CoC Standard V2 Certification to V Global

V Global Manufacturing Limited's facility in Dehua County, Fujian Province, China, has received ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) and Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V2 (2022) Certification for the production of aluminium alloy building profiles, industrial aluminium alloy extrusion profiles, aluminium alloy doors and windows, and curtain wall components.

China Quality Mark Certification Group carried out independent, third-party audits. The firm produces various aluminium alloy profiles, doors, windows, and curtain wall components, with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes. These products are used in building, construction, and other industries.

With an increasing global focus on responsibly produced aluminium in the building and construction sector, the dual Certification demonstrates the company's implementation of responsible production practices, and can support responsible sourcing of its downstream customers," said Fiona Solomon, Chief Executive Officer at ASI.

The ASI Certification programme, established after intensive multi-stakeholder input, is the first complete voluntary sustainability standard project for the aluminium value chain. The ASI Performance Standard V3 and ASI CoC Standard V2 were released in May 2022 following a multi-year review process.
