

Apple recently completed a week of product launches, introducing several new devices, including the iPhone 17e and the MacBook Neo. After these announcements, an industry report suggested that the company may now focus more on developing high-end products.

The company is also considering the use of 3D-printed aluminium in its manufacturing process, which could improve the production efficiency for Apple Watch casings and could also be used in the manufacturing of the iPhone.
Apple is reportedly planning three premium devices for 2026 as it explores expanding its top-tier ‘Ultra’ segment. These products may not all officially use the ‘Ultra’ branding, but they would belong to the company’s most expensive and technologically advanced category.

One of the products will be an upcoming foldable iPhone with new technologies such as in-display sensors, and may cost around USD 2,000. Another product is an updated MacBook that may include a touch-enabled OLED display, which could also have an increased rate of about 20 per cent. In addition, Apple is experimenting with new versions of the iMac that may include more powerful processors and larger displays.

Apple is also expected to release a new generation of AirPods. These earphones may include computer-vision cameras that can provide visual information to Siri. Due to these additional features, the new AirPods are likely to be more expensive than the current AirPods Pro.
