Notes:
There may be a difference when calculating the price with respect to
import volume, carbon price, and benchmark emissions, as the embedded
formula may result in minor variations due to decimal rounding.
Therefore, the actual value may vary.
CBAM is applicable to trade volumes starting from 50 metric tonnes. For trade volumes below 50 metric tonnes, CBAM does not apply.

Aluminium Pressure Die Casting Competition 2016 submission deadline extended
2MINS READ
The deadline for submission of aluminium cast pieces for the Aluminium Pressure Die Casting Competition 2016 has been extended to 1 November 2015.
For years the competition has been a proven platform for showing off the high standard of quality in aluminium pressure die casting. The goal of the competition is to bolster interest in aluminium as a versatile working material, and to identify new areas of application.
The cast pieces submitted to the Aluminium Pressure Die Casting Competition 2016 will be evaluated according to the suitability of the construction for pressure die casting and the construction's efficient use of resources. Foundries are free to submit any number of die cast pieces. The submissions will be evaluated by an expert jury the beginning of December 2015 following which the three best pieces will be selected. The best submissions will be awarded at a ceremony that will take place on the occasion of EUROGUSS 2016, on 12 - 14 January 2016 in Nuremberg. The winning pieces will be exhibited there and at other trade fairs.
The GDA (Gesamtverband der Aluminiumindustrie e.V.) in Düsseldorf is organising the competition. The BDG (Bundesverband der Deutschen Gießereiindustrie) is collaborating in the organisation as partner. The competition is also supported by the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO) and the Swiss Aluminium Association.
