Aluminium ingot price opens higher by RMB 170/t after the holidays; Prebaked anode price in East market stands at RMB3132.5/t

China market reopened on October 9 after the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays. SMM aluminium ingot price edged higher by RMB 170 per tonne to stand at RMB 14850 per tonne on Friday, 09 October 2020, from September 30’s price of RMB 14680 per tonne. The price is expected to range at RMB 14830-14870 per tonne.

In Foshan and Wuxi, the price rose by RMB 130 per tonne and RMB 210 per tonne to stand at RMB 14790 per tonne and RMB 14870 per tonne on Friday, 09 October 2020. Aluminium prices in Hangzhou and Chongqing came in at RMB 14880 per tonne and 14770 per tonne, up RMB 200 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi increased to stand at RMB 14850 per tonne, RMB 14850 per tonne, RMB 14800 per tonne, and RMB 14780 per tonne.

Prebaked anode prices in East and Central China markets inched up by RMB 122.5 per tonne and RMB 125 per tonne. As of Friday, 09 October 2020, prebaked anode prices in East and Central came in at RMB 3132.5 per tonne and RMB 3225 per tonne.

The prebaked anode spot price in Southwest China and Northwest China increased by RMB 125 per tonne each to stand at RMB 3385 per tonne and RMB 3625 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (ADC12) price stood at RMB 15000 per tonne, an increase of RMB 100 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloy (ADC12) – East, South, and Southwest came in at RMB 15000 per tonne, RMB 14750 per tonne, and RMB 14700 per tonne, an increase of RMB 100 per tonne each.

Aluminium Alloy (A356) price and Aluminium alloy (A380) was up by RMB 150 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 15450 per tonne and RMB 15900 per tonne.
