Alumina price in China down RMB3/t at RMB2480/t; A00 aluminium ingot price hikes for the fourth straight day

The average spot alumina price in China is down by RMB 3 per tonne or 0.12 per cent on Tuesday, 03 December 2019. Alumina price stands at RMB 2480 per tonne, after remaining flat at RMB 2483 per tonne on November 29 and December 2. Alumina prices remain unchanged across all major markets in China.

The prices of alumina in East, Central, North, and South China markets remain unchanged at RMB 2490 per tonne, RMB 2495 per tonne, RMB 2485 per tonne, and RMB 2520 per tonne. Alumina (Imported) price has dropped by RMB 10 per to stand at RMB 2540 per tonne, after remaining flat since November 25 at RMB 2550 per tonne. The average price is expected to range within RMB 2520-2560 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices stand higher for the fourth straight day on Tuesday. A00 aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 60 per tonne to RMB 14110 per tonne on December 3, from its previous price of RMB 14050 per tonne on December 2. The price is expected to move within a range of RMB 14090-14130 per tonne. Spot aluminium price is likely to be traded at a premium of RMB 80-90 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Foshan and Wuxi stand at RMB 14110 per tonne each, up RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne. The prices in Hangzhou, Chongqing, and Shenyang have increased by RMB 55 per tonne, RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 14135 per tonne, RMB 14110 per tonne, and RMB 14115 per tonne.

In Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi, the aluminium price has increased to stand at RMB 14090 per tonne, RMB 14140 per tonne, and RMB 14030 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (ADC12) price is up RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 14800 per tonne today. The price is expected to range at RMB 14700 per tonne-14900 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloys in East, South, and West stand at RMB 14800 per tonne, RMB 14750 per tonne, and RMB 14500 per tonne, an increase of RMB50 per tonne each.

The Aluminium alloy (A380) and Aluminium alloy (A356) prices have climbed by RMB 50 per tonne each to RMB 15700 per tonne and RMB 14800 per tonne on Tuesday, 03 December 2019. Their prices are expected to range at RMB 15600-15800 per tonne and RMB 14750-14850 per tonne.
