Alumina price in China down by 0.50%; Aluminium alloy (ADC12) up by RMB100/t

The average spot alumina price declined by RMB 13 per tonne or 0.50 per cent on Tuesday, 05 November 2019, after remaining flat at RMB 2596 per tonne on 04 November. Alumina price in China stood at RMB 2583 per tonne.

Alumina prices in East and North markets fell by RMB 20 per tonne each to stand at RMB 2605 per tonne and RMB 2580 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range at RMB 2580- 2630 per tonne and RMB 2540-2620 per tonne. In Central market, the price was down by RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 2600 per tonne. The price in South remained unchanged at RMB 2520 per tonne.

Alumina (imported) registered a drop of RMB 40 per tonne or 1.48 per cent on Tuesday. The price reduced from RMB 2700 per tonne to RMB 2660 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price stood at RMB 14350 per tonne, up RMB100 per tonne from yesterday’s price of RMB 14250 per tonne. The price is expected to range at RMB 14250 per tonne- RMB 14450 per tonne.

The prices of aluminium alloys in East, South, and West stood at RMB 14350 per tonne, RMB 14300 per tonne, and RMB 14000 per tonne, up RMB100 per tonne each. Aluminium alloy (A356) price was up by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 14800 per tonne on Tuesday, 05 November 2019. The price is expected to range at RMB 14750 per tonne- RMB 14850 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price was up by RMB 70 per tonne from its earlier price of RMB14060 per tonne today. The price stood at RMB 14130 per tonne and expected to move within a range of RMB 14110-14150 per tonne. This marks the third consecutive growth in the aluminium ingot price.
