Built by HP, Alba’s new datacentre was designed in-house by Alba’s IT team to suit the company’s requirements and was delivered, commissioned and live in early December 2013.

Alba’s Chief Operations Officer, Isa Al Ansari, Chief Financial Officer, Ali Al Baqali, Senior Manager Information Technology, Esam Hadi and Superintendent IT and Infrastructure Services, Syed Hashmi along with other IT personnel from the company welcomed the visitors.

Commenting on this visit, Chief Financial Officer, Ali Al Baqali said: “Alba’s new CDC provides a high-quality environment for central data storage and networking. We are proud to showcase the new datacentre in order for our partners to learn and understand the technology, so that they may look at deploying similar solutions in the future.”

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chairman of TBS, Mishal Al Hellow added: “Alba is one of the key drivers of Bahrain’s economy. We were pleased with the experience of visiting the new datacentre, which demonstrates that Alba has superior IT capabilities.
