Airobotics launches automated drone to inspect operation at Worsley Alumina

<p>Airobotics, a leading provider of an end-to-end fully automatic solution, has developed an unmanned drone solution, the first of its kind in the global market. The industrial grade automated drone comes with high capacity and cloud based software helps the user to control with one click.</p> <p>South32, a base metal and coal mining company, will use Airobotics platform to collect aerial data and insights at the Worsley Alumina operations in a 3D digital environment.&nbsp; This will help the company to improve its operation in the future.<br /><br />{googleAdsense}</p> <p>Worsley Alumina is a joint venture operation between South32 which holds 86 per cent interest, Japan Alumina Associates owns 10 per cent and Sojitz Alumina Pty Ltd owns four per cent. The company has been operating a bauxite mine at near Buddington and a alumina refinery located at near Worsley.</p>
