A00 ingot prices edge higher in major China markets; Chalco hikes its prices

The prices for A00 Aluminium Ingot for all major China markets (North, South, North-East and South-West) have registered a rise today, on July 20, after yesterday’s drop on July 19. The revised prices for the commodity are as follows:

On July 20 2017, Thursday, the average prices for A00 Aluminium Ingot for North China market have increased from RMB 14,180/t on July 19 to RMB 14,260/t. A00 Aluminium Ingot at South China market jumped from RMB 14,205/t on July 19 to RMB 14,295/t.

The price in East China market (Zhejiang) jumped from RMB 14,165/t on July 19 to RMB14,250/t on July 20 and for Jiangsu province it increased from RMB 14,145/t to RMB14,240/t.

For the Northeast China market, the price increased from RMB 14,080/t on July 19 to RMB 14,195/t today. For the Southwest China market, the price increased from RMB 14,135/t to RMB 14,230/t on July 20.

A00 Aluminium Ingot in spot China market is trading at discounts of RMB 170 - 130/t.

China Aluminum International Trading Co. (Chalco Trading) raised aluminium prices it offered in major markets today. The revised prices are as follows:

As on July 20, price for Aluminium Alloy (A350) in China jumped to RMB 14,950/t from RMB 14,850/t. The average Aluminium Alloy (A380) price remains unchanged at RMB 15,650/t.

As for the raw materials in the China market are concerned, bauxite and prebaked anode prices have registered no change today.  Spot alumina remains flat and so are other prime materials. The average aluminium fluoride prices in China remain static at RMB 9,000 per tonne, and Cryolite too remains unchanged at RMB 6,100 per tonne as on July 20.
