
A00 aluminium ingot price has opened the market after a week-long Chinese New Year Holiday with a surge of RMB 440 per tonne to stand above RMB 16,000 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market. According to the data, the price today, on February 18, has pegged at RMB 16,210 per tonne, the highest since the beginning of 202. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 16,190 per tonne and RMB 16,230 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 90-50 per tonne.

In Wuxi and Hangzhou, A00 aluminium ingot price has grown the highest by RMB 485 per tonne to come in at RMB 16,260 per tonne and RMB 16,285 per tonne on February 18. Gongyi has seen a hike of RMB 470 per tonne to RMB 16,070 per tonne, followed by the surge of RMB 460 per tonne in Tianjin to RMB 16,130 per tonne. In Foshan and Chongqing, primary aluminium ingot price has increased by RMB 450 per tonne and RMB 440 per tonne to peg at RMB 16,220 per tonne and RMB 16,200 per tonne, respectively, while that in Shenyang and Linyi is up by RMB 400 per tonne and RMB 390 per tonne to RMB 16,180 per tonne and RMB 16,110 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has grown by RMB 450 per tonne to stand at RMB 16,900 per tonne on Thursday, February 18, according to SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 16,850 per tonne and RMB 16,950 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have gained RMB 250 per tonne to stand at RMB 17,350 per tonne and RMB 18,250 per tonne, respectively.
Among the primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.50 per kg to clock at RMB 19.75 per kg.
