A00 aluminium ingot price rebounds to over RMB15000/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) price surges by RMB250/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has jumped by RMB 270 per tonne on Thursday, January 21, to stand above RMB 15,000 per tonne, following the past two consecutive days of decline. Shanghai Metals Market data shows the primary aluminium ingot price has come in at RMB 15,020 per tonne, with average prices to range between RMB 15,000 per tonne and RMB 15,040 per tonne. The spot contract is likely to be traded at a premium price of RMB 120-160 per tonne, up by RMB 60 per tonne from the previous day.

In Wuxi, A00 aluminium ingot price has soared by RMB 325 per tonne to stand at RMB 15,125 per tonne, followed by the surge of RMB 310 per tonne to RMB 15,135 per tonne. In Chongqing, primary aluminium ingot price has come in at RMB 15,135 per tonne growing by RMB 310 per tonne, while the price in Chongqing is hovering around RMB 15,010 per tonne, up by RMB 270 per tonne. A00 aluminium ingot price in Shenyang, Tianjin, and Linyi has increased by RMB 260 per tonne to come in at RMB 15,075 per tonne, RMB 15,070 per tonne, and RMB 15,150 per tonne, respectively.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price has climbed by RMB 250 per tonne to stand at RMB 15,700 per tonne on Thursday, January 21, found SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 15,650 per tonne and RMB 15,750 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price surges by RMB250/t

The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have grown by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 16,750 per tonne and RMB 17,650 per tonne.

Among the primary aluminium raw materials, aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.30 per kg to come in at RMB 18.55 per kg. Average prices are likely to hover around RMB 18.50-18.60 per kg.
