A00 aluminium ingot price initiates the week with RMB60/t growth after back-to-back falls since July 4

According to the Shanghai Metals Market survey on Monday, July 10, A00 aluminium ingot price has begun the week with an increase of RMB 60 per tonne after four consecutive days of fall since last Tuesday, July 4. As per the data, the aluminium ingot price has pegged at RMB 18,270 per tonne versus RMB 18,210 per tonne on Friday. The average prices are estimated to range between RMB 18,250 per tonne and RMB 18,290 per tonne, with a spot contract to be traded at a discount price of RMB 40 per tonne to a premium price of RMB 0 per tonne.

The rise in A00 aluminium ingot price has touched upon almost all major Chinese provinces except Tianjin, where the price has dipped by RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 18,250 per tonne. In Gongyi, the primary aluminium ingot price has ascended by RMB 120 per tonne to RMB 18,210 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 80 per tonne in Shenyang to RMB 18,230 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne in Hangzhou and Chongqing to RMB 18,270 per tonne and RMB 18,310 per tonne, respectively. In Linyi, Wuxi, and Foshan, the ingot price has gained RMB 60 per tonne, RMB 50 per tonne, and RMB 20 per tonne, respectively, to clock at RMB 18,220 per tonne, RMB 18,260 per tonne, and RMB 18,380 per tonne, found SMM.

The domestic low-carbon aluminium price has expanded by RMB 11 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,985 per tonne, following four back-to-back declines from RMB 19,364 per tonne on July 3 to RMB 18,974 per tonne on July 7.

High-purity aluminium (99.99%) price has jumped by RMB 100 per tonne to score RMB 25,800 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 25,300 per tonne and RMB 26,300 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys prices have also experienced hikes in line with A00 aluminium ingot price growth. According to SMM, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price has escalated by RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,450 per tonne, with average prices estimated to range between RMB 18,350 per tonne and RMB 18,550 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have also increased by RMB 50 per tonne, standing at RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,350 per tonne, respectively.

Among primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 20.10 per kg, learned SMM. The average prices are estimated to range between RMB 20 per kg and RMB 20.2 per kg.
