
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has increased for the third day in a row by RMB 250 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,170 per tonne on Tuesday, November 23. The average prices are estimated to range between RMB 19,150 per tonne and RMB 19,190 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 80-40 per tonne, up by RMB 20 per tonne from the previous day.

Among the Chinese cities, Linyi has seen the highest growth of RMB 240 per tonne to RMB 19,250 per tonne, followed by the increase of RMB 235 per tonne in Hangzhou and Wuxi to RMB 19,180 per tonne and RMB 19,170 per tonne, respectively. In Gongyi, the primary aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 230 per tonne to RMB 19,120 per tonne, while the price in Chongqing and Tianjin has built-up by RMB 220 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,170 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has recorded an increase of RMB 200 per tonne to settle at RMB 21,650 per tonne as of Tuesday, November 23. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 21,600 per tonne and RMB 21,700 per tonne, found SMM.

However, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 20,400 per tonne and RMB 21,600 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.20 per kg to peg at RMB 21.65 per kg, with average prices to range between RMB 21.6-21.7 per kg.
Caustic soda (32% concentration) price in Shandong has dropped by RMB 15 per tonne to come in at RMB 915 per tonne on November 23. According to SMM, the average prices are estimated to range between RMB 880-950 per tonne.
