A00 aluminium ingot price in China opens the week with a decline of RMB120/t; Average alumina spot price moves down by RMB2/t
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has seen a decline of RMB 120 per tonne since Monday, August 8, to settle at RMB 18,400 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 18,380 per tonne and RMB 18,420 per tonne. The spot contracts may be traded at a discount price of RMB 110 to RMB 70 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the price in Gongyi, Wuxi and Linyi has gone down by RMB 120 per tonne to close at RMB 18,280 per tonne, RMB 18,360 per tonne and 18,400 per tonne. On the same day, the price in Chongqing and Shenyang decreased by RMB 110 per tonne and RMB 120 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,300 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Foshan and Hangzhou has dropped by RMB 130 per tonne and RMB 135 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,240 per tonne and RMB 18,405 per tonne. Tianjin's price has decreased by RMB 20 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,400 per tonne.
The average alumina spot price has inched down by RMB 2 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,967 per tonne. The price in Henan has decreased by RMB 5 per tonne to record at RMB 3,015 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the alumina prices in all other provinces have remained restrained.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium has fallen by RMB 120 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,848 per tonne.
On the other hand, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price has increased by RMB 50 per tonne to score at RMB 18,500 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne. The average price for aluminium alloys (ADC12) is expected to range between RMB 18,400 per tonne and RMB 18,600 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380) price, the average price is likely to stand between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has dropped by RMB 100 per tonne to rest at RMB 19,500 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne.
The aluminium powder price has moved down by RMB 0.1 per kg to close at RMB 20.2 per kg. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 20.1 per kg and RMB 20.3 per kg.
