
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has recorded an increase of RMB 160 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,980 per tonne on Wednesday, May 12, following a plunge last day from RMB 20,030 per tonne to RMB 19,820 per tonne, according to the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,960 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 40-0 per tonne.

In Foshan, A00 aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 200 per tonne to come in at RMB 20,050 per tonne, followed by the increase of RMB 180 per tonne in Chongqing to RMB 19,950 per tonne. In Shenyang, primary aluminium ingot price has climbed by RMB 175 per tonne to RMB 19,980 per tonne, while the price in Linyi and Wuxi has grown by RMB 160 per tonne and RMB 155 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,990 per tonne. In Gongyi, Hangzhou, and Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has increased by RMB 150 per tonne, RMB 135 per tonne, and RMB 80 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,870 per tonne, RMB 20,005 per tonne, and RMB 19,960 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium alloys prices have grown by RMB 100 per tonne across China on May 12, bringing aluminium alloy (A356) price to RMB 20,650 per tonne, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price to RMB 19,500 per tonne, and aluminium alloy (A380) price to RMB 20,500 per tonne.
Among primary aluminium input costs, none has recorded any changes except the price of aluminium powder, which has inched up by RMB 0.20 per kg to RMB 23.55 per kg as of May 12.
