Three-month LME aluminium slightly up at US$2,533/t; SHFE aluminium weakened 0.72%
Three-month LME aluminium rose 0.14% to close at US$2,533 per tonne on Tuesday. SMM expects the contract to trade between US$2,530-2,580 per tonne today.
As of Tuesday, May 11, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2549.50 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2549.50 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2565 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2565 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2548 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2548 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1780900 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1223600 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 557300 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2557.68per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 3089 per tonne on Wednesday, 12 May 2021.
The most-active SHFE 2106 aluminium contract shed 0.72% to close the day at RMB19,945 per tonne on Tuesday. The most-liquid SHFE 2106 aluminium contract fell 0.53% to settle at RMB19,840 per tonne on Tuesday night. It is likely to trade between 19,600-20,100 today.
