According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price has recorded a hike for the second consecutive day by RMB 70 per tonne to stand at RMB 14,680 per tonne on Wednesday, September 16. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 14,660 per tonne and RMB 14,700 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 100-140 per tonne.
SMM data shows A00 aluminium ingot price has grown the highest in Foshan, Chongqing, and Linyi by RMB 70 per tonne to stand at RMB 14,810 per tonne, RMB 14,675 per tonne, and RMB 14,710 per tonne, respectively, as of September 16. In Wuxi, Shenyang, and Gongyi, the primary aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 60 per tonne to come in at RMB 14,680 per tonne, RMB 14,665 per tonne, and RMB 14,570 per tonne. In Hangzhou and Tianjin, the price has inched up by RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne to stand, respectively, at RMB 14,680 per tonne and RMB 14,650 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy prices have also registered a surge today, backed on the hike in A00 aluminium ingot price. While the prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have jumped by RMB 150 per tonne to stand at 14,550 per tonne and RMB 15,450 per tonne, respectively, the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has increased by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 15,300 per tonne.
In the East and South China, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price has grown by RMB 150 per tonne to RMB 14,550 per tonne and RMB 14,530 per tonne, while that in the Southwest has expanded by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 14,250 per tonne.
As far as aluminium input costs are concerned, none other than aluminium powder has recorded changes. Aluminium powder price has grown by RMB 0.1 per kg to stand at RMB 18.25 per kg today, found SMM data.
