In line with their tech-driven approach to manufacturing, OSH Cut simultaneously released a first-of-its-kind configuration tool that allows users to design bent-tube parts from scratch, if they don't already have a 3D CAD model. Those part files can then be queued up for production immediately or downloaded.STEP files for later use.

CNC Tube Bending was one of OSH Cut's top-requested services in 2025, according to customer survey data. Some of the more popular applications for custom-cut and bent tubing include automotive framework, furniture making, robotics, railings, conduit, etc.

From its inception, OSH Cut's primary objective has been to make high-mix metal fabrication accessible to anyone with a web browser. By leveraging high-end equipment and automating processes such as first-principles design inspection, nesting, production workflows, and inventory management, OSH Cut is able to consistently ingest and deliver thousands of unique SKUs each week. This enables innovators from all industries to advance their projects with remarkable efficiency.

"Up until we started this eight years ago, sourcing one-off metal parts was a huge challenge for most folks," explained Caleb Chamberlain, CEO at OSH Cut. "Waiting a week or more to get a quote, and then 3 to 4 more weeks to actually get your parts (if you were lucky enough to find a shop that accepts small orders) just wasn't tenable."

"The majority of today's workforce doesn't remember a time when Amazon.com didn't exist. As consumers, we crave convenience, speed, clarity, and assurance. Engineers and DIYers are no different, and we're really proud to help them innovate faster and more reliably than ever before with on-demand tube and sheet metal parts."

OSH Cut's tube bending services will initially be limited to steel (A513, 4130, and DOM 1020), stainless steel (304), and aluminium with varying diameters up to 1.5" and wall thicknesses up to 0.120", depending on the material. However, Mr Chamberlain did confirm that additional equipment per tooling to bend up to 3"-diameter tubing will be in place this year. If customers just need straight tube cutting service, the company can cut parts up to 10" in outer diameter.

OSH Cut, Inc is a private, US-based corporation serving customers throughout the United States and Canada. For more information about their on-demand metal services, visit oshcut.com.
