KETO Motors has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, held at Bharat Future City, to establish a state-of-the-art electric bus manufacturing facility in Jadcherla. The project, with an investment of INR 300 crore, will focus on 9-metre electric buses and is expected to create over 2,000 direct jobs within three years. Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Telangana, was present for the MoU signing. The Government of Telangana will support the project by facilitating all statutory and regulatory approvals through the TG-iPASS single-window system, further reinforcing the state’s position as a growing hub for clean mobility and EV manufacturing.
Welcoming the investment and highlighting the state’s clean mobility vision, Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Telangana, said, “Telangana continues to lead India’s transition to clean mobility by building a strong and future-ready electric vehicle ecosystem.
