Recognising India's growing industrial demands and the government's 'Make in India' initiative, Almatis invested in a state-of-the-art, fully integrated tabular alumina facility in Falta, West Bengal. Completed in approximately 2.5 years, the plant commenced operations in November 2022, marking a significant milestone in Almatis' commitment to local manufacturing and supply chain integration. Strategically located to serve the Indian and Southeast Asian markets, the Falta facility underscores Almatis' dedication to delivering high-quality specialty alumina products while supporting the entire value chain from refractories to steel making and other high temperature applications, conducive for regional industrial growth.

Their ability to confidently address the jury’s queries reflected Almatis’ strong culture of quality and collaboration.
