EV/CAB line from SECO/WARWICK for the eighth time

For the eighth time, an international manufacturer of heat exchangers in the automotive sector has chosen the EV/CAB line from SECO/WARWICK.

The first “Snake” battery coolers produced by this partner will be executed in SECO/WARWICK furnaces. This is the eighth CAB line, which will operate in the partner’s plants, and the second one, with a width of 2300 mm.

This partner is an expert in components, subsystems, and system solutions for car thermal management. It provides energy-saving and high-performance products for regular petroleum and diesel-fueled cars and solutions for new electric vehicles.

Piotr Skarbiński, the Vice President of the Aluminium Process and CAB Business Segment in SECO/WARWICK said, "Our EV/CAB line, designed specifically for the production of 'Snake' type battery coolers, is a testament to our unique technology. The fact that we are delivering the eighth furnace for controlled atmosphere brazing to this partner clearly indicates our product quality and successful cooperation." 

Continuous brazing lines for the automotive industry

The controlled atmosphere brazing (CAB) line on order will include a convection preheating chamber, a radiation furnace and two cooling chambers. The entire system will be equipped with a dedicated control system.

Controlled Atmosphere Aluminium Brazing (CAB) is the preferred technology for aluminium heat exchanger production in the automotive industry. Hence, SECO/WARWICK has created a brand dedicated to this industry - EV/CAB. SECO/WARWICK sells a similar solution on the European market. This dedicated line has been tailored to the requirements of this battery cooler manufacturer.
