
West Europe produced 477,000 tonnes of alumina in July 2020, according to the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) data. That was a decrease of 2.45% from 489,000 tonnes in July 2019 and 0.12% from 478,000 tonnes in June 2020.
Alumina production in the first seven months of 2020 stood at 3.319 million tonne, from 3.402 million tonnes in the first seven months of 2019.This marks a decrease of 2.44% year-on-year.

East & Central Europe produced 383,000 tonnes of alumina in July 2020, an increase of 3.79% from 369,000 tonnes in July 2019. On a month on month basis, the output increased by 7% from 358,000 tonnes in June 2020.
Alumina production in the first seven months of 2020 stood at 2.606 million tonne, from 2.557 million tonnes in the first seven months of 2019.This marks an increase of 1.92% year-on-year.
