Dutch yard Van der Valk has reportedly unveiled the first model in its BeachClub 600 range. It is all-aluminium, semi-custom 19.05 metre yacht designed by Cor D Rover.

After being launched in the Netherlands, the yacht will now undergo sea trials and then appear at a number of major boat shows this summer.
A second model in the range, the 20.5 metre BeachClub 660 Flybridge, is also under construction and on track for delivery this summer.
“Having contemporary and dynamic appearance,” as the yard said, both the yachts will be perfectly suited to sailing hotspots, such as the South of France, Florida, and the Caribbean.
Both the models feature increased interior and exterior volume that is achieved by placing the engine compartment within the swimming platform. The move “opens up tremendous amounts of uninterrupted space on the lower deck,” the yard said.
As a result, the yachts have three exterior spaces, the beach deck with sunlounge, aft deck and foredeck, while the interior comprises an upper saloon with an indoor helm station, lower deck saloon, and accommodation quarters.
Yard manager Bram Kooltjes said: “The fact that Van der Valk builds the hulls gives us total control of the planning and quick turnaround times for any changes requested by the owner. Our close partnership with Ginton Naval Architects and Cor D Rover has enabled us to look at the model from every possible angle and this continues to be a truly inspiring project.”
