US export of aluminium plates, sheets, bars to Mexico drops down by 3.49% Y-o-Y in September 2021

According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States exported 22,100 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets, bars to Mexico in September 2021, showing a month-on-month surge of 21,00 tonnes or by 10.5 percent. In August 2021, 20,000 tonnes of aluminium plates, sheets, bars were exported to Mexico, showing an increase of 3.5 percent from 19,300 tonnes in July 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium plates, sheets, bars exported to Mexico in September 2021, dropped down by 800 tonnes or by 3.49 percent from 22,900 tonnes.

From January to September 2021, the exported aluminium plates, sheets, bars to Mexico closed at 204,000 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount settled at 22,900 tonnes.

As per the data shared by the United States Geological Survey, the amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap, exported to Mexico for September 2021 totalled at 42,400 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount settled at 44,400 tonnes showing a decrease of 2,000 tonnes in 2021.
