
The United States imported 24,400 tonnes of US aluminium crude metals and alloys from Argentina in September 2021, showing a month-on-month surge of 17,260 tonnes or 70.73 percent, says the US Geological Survey (USGS). In August 2021, 7,140 tonnes of US aluminium crude metals and alloys were imported from Argentina, flaunting a decrease of 47.88 percent from 13,700 tonnes in July 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium crude metals and alloys imported from Argentina in September 2021, elevated by 12,800 tonnes or by 52.45 percent from 11,600 tonnes.
From January to September 2021, the imported US aluminium crude metals and alloys to Argentina settled at 84,900 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount settled at 127,000 tonnes.

According to the data shared by the United States Geological Survey, the amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap imported from Argentina for September 2021 totalled at 24,400 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount was recorded at 11,600 tonnes showing a growth of 12,800 tonnes in 2021.
