The demand for aluminium is on the path of escalation, as various industry analysts have already predicted that the metal aluminium is going to experience much hefty demand than the previous time and also to some extent replacing steel. The downstream segment, which is the most vital part of the global aluminium industry, is coming up with various expansions, acquisitions and the new production of machines and furnaces. The week ended yesterday, again observed some very important events. The leader in aluminium manufacturing since 1987, Extruded Aluminum Corp. is expanding its facility at 7200 Industrial Drive in Otisco Township, near Belding in Ionia County, Michigan. While in Europe, the Greek aluminium extrusion house, ELVIAL S.A has been reported of procuring a second furnace from Nitrex Metals.

Hindalco Industries Limited has grown its aluminium products and aluminium ingot prices with effect from Tuesday, November 23, following two consecutive days of cut on November 17 and 19. Hindalco has increased its aluminium billets price by INR 4,500 per tonne to INR 241,600 per tonne on November 23.
China customs data has reported an 8 per cent month-on-month downfall in the country’s aluminium extrusion exports in October 2021. As per the data, the exports stood at 74,400 tonnes in the said month, which also reflected a 4 per cent year-on-year fall. The decline in exports could be attributed to the 7-day National Day Holiday in China. Besides, the sharp hikes in domestic aluminium price in early October to a new high at RMB 24,240 per tonne affected the export order.
Aluminium billet inventories in China dwindled by 21,600 tonnes week-on-week across five major consumption areas, found the Shanghai Metals Market. As a result, the inventories settled at 78,900 tonnes as of Thursday, November 25.
Extruded Aluminum Corp. (EAC), a 6000 series aluminium extrusion manufacturer, will reportedly expand its facility at 7200 Industrial Drive in Otisco Township, near Belding in Ionia County. The news came last week after The Right Place Inc., together with the Ionia County Economic Alliance (ICEA) and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), announced it officially.
