
As per the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States exported 25,000 tonnes US aluminium scrap to South Korea in September 2021, showing a month-on-month decrease of 200 tonnes or by 0.79 percent. In August 2021, 25,200 tonnes of US aluminium scrap was exported to South Korea, flaunting an elevation of 19.43 percent from 21,100 in July 2021.

On a year-on-year scale, US aluminium scrap received by South Korea in September 2021, surged up by 800 tonnes or by 3.30 percent from 24,200 tonnes in September 2020.
From January to September 2021, the exported scrap to South Korea totalled at 193,000 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount closed at 214,000.

According to the data shared by the United States Geological Survey, the total amount aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap, exported to South Korea for September 2021 settled at 25,300 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount scored was 25,500 tonnes, showing a decrease of 200 tonnes in 2021.
