TWR Bifolds adds premium aluminium lantern roof system to its product range

TWR Bifolds has recently added new premium aluminium systems to its product range. Currently, the company is a manufacturer of Synseal Stratus, an aluminium lantern roof system in its factory in Sunderland, UK.

Commenting on the product expansion, Terry Richardson, Managing Director of TWR said: “The rise in demand for luxury home improvements such as orangeries and flat-roof extensions has brought with it an increase in lantern roof installations as homeowners look to create a light and airy atmosphere in their home.”

The new premium range of aluminium lantern roof system has contemporary designs. Stratus is a fully thermally broken roof system that offers over 60% more thermal efficiency than conventional aluminium systems. The new roof system is targeted at the high-end domestic roof market but is also suitable for commercial projects. The versatile roofing system has enough business potential for installers.

Stratus roofs can also be installed as flat roof extension or to instil light into an existing flat roof building. 66% smaller ridge and slim sightlines than standard roofing gives Stratus roofs a premium architectural appearance. This makes the system cosmetically suitable for commercial purpose.

As standard, Stratus is available in Anthracite Grey or Crisp White with a white interior. But, with the help of in-house powder coating facility, TWR Bifolds can customise Stratus roofs in any RAL colour shade according to a customer wish.
