ThyssenKrupp acquires aerospace operations of Alimex Metals

ThyssenKrupp Aerospace will continue with the business of Alimex, to distribute and process aluminum mill products (sheet, rod, plate) for aviation industry. All inventories and customer networks will be transferred to ThyssenKrupp Aerospace. Alimex has planned to completely withdraw from aerospace sector while continue to deal with other business areas.
"The acquisition of Alimex's aerospace business is a further step in our strategy to strengthen our market position and expand our product and service portfolio. For existing customers of Alimex, nothing will change – on the contrary, all supply and processing services will continue in the same quality and will be complemented by ThyssenKrupp Aerospace's product line," says Management Board member Sebastian Gudel.
ThyssenKrupp Aerospace is the supplier of material as well as supply chain management services to the leading aerospace companies in the world and their supply chains. The multinational company has their base all over America, North Africa, Europe and Asia-Pacific region.
