Dutch yacht builder Van den Hoven Jachtbouw has unveiled the Voyager 56 Fly, a new aluminium adventure cruiser designed to expand outdoor living space while maintaining the long-range cruising capabilities of the Voyager series.
{alcircleadd}Constructed with an aluminium hull and cabin structure, the Voyager 56 Fly is designed to be lighter than similarly sized fiberglass boats, helping improve fuel efficiency and speed. The yacht is powered by twin Volvo D6-600 diesel engines with straight shafts, delivering a cruising speed of about 18 knots and a top speed ranging from 22 to 25 knots.
The new model is based on the Voyager 56 Coupe platform and introduces a discreet low-profile flybridge that nearly doubles the vessel’s open-air social areas. The flybridge includes an upper helm station, L-shaped seating, dining table, wet bar, grill and space for sun chairs, creating an additional entertainment and relaxation zone.
The Voyager range currently includes models from 50 to 71 feet, with an 80-foot yacht under development. The series is aimed at experienced cruisers seeking megayacht-style comfort in a family-sized vessel.
The 56 Fly combines traditional motor yacht styling with contemporary sport cruiser design elements. Features include a sloping transom with integrated stairs, large salon windows, a plumb bow and angular hull glazing. The yacht also incorporates a curved transom garage fitted with a pneumatic door and slipway system for tender storage and launch.

Inside, the yacht offers a three-cabin, two-head layout with a forward master suite and two guest cabins aft. The main salon can be configured in several ways, though the standard arrangement places the helm station forward, lounge and dinette amidships, and a large galley aft connecting the interior and exterior dining areas.
Van den Hoven said the yacht will be offered with multiple fuel tank configurations to support extended cruising capability.
