The acquisition offer of ProfilGruppen AB for its profile operations in Poland has been rejected.

Initially, in February 2025, the company was given the right to the anonymous aluminium plant in Poland on lease. The announcement was made then that ProfilGruppen would take necessary action to acquire the aluminium plant in Poland.

Following the latest announcement of acquisition rejection, the company has to close all its operations and vacate the facility by early January 2026. However, there is still a small hope that the team handling the bankruptcy case might return with a new offer or solution before the factory closes completely. However, if the shutdown happens, it would be too late to restart its operations. Presently, the company is also looking for other alternatives as well for minimising its loss.
