
The most environmentally friendly and utmost recyclable type of container in the world is aluminium cans. It permits the beverages inside them to preserve their taste while securing them from the harmful influence of the elements. Furthermore, the can does not get rusty or lose its properties in any way. Aluminium cans are also used packing foods, oils, chemicals and other liquids as it is more malleable and lighter than steel cans.

The economy of Sweden has been relatively steady over the last few decades, as the economy is highly driven by exports. The Scandinavian nation, Sweden with a size around 1.3 times bigger than Germany exported 31,067 tonnes of aluminium cans during 2019-20, incurring revenue generation of $86.13 million from the export.

A relatively wealthy state, Sweden exported 14,809 tonnes of aluminium cans in 2019, which in return brought back revenue of $38.05 million, whereas, in 2020, the export illustrated a significant growth by 9.78%, as the export volume surged to 16,258 tonnes due to rise in export demand and creating revenue development of $48.08 million.
The Swedish aluminium cans export in 2021 is analysed with a further upswing by 14.61%, as the export volume is expected to gain momentum to stand at 18,634 tonnes, while earnings are forecasted to dip at $39.39 million.
The major trading destinations for Sweden’s export of aluminium cans are Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Iceland, India, Netherlands, South Africa, USA, etc.
