Spot alumina prices in three major China markets reported a rise; other raw materials remain flat

<p>Spot alumina prices in China are on an upward track in the major domestic market with a few exceptions like South China where they remain unchanged.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><img style="vertical-align: middle;" src="http://www.alcircle.com/uploads/images/aluminium%20production.png" alt="News" width="517" height="226" /></p> <p>As on June 12 2017, as reported by Shanghai Metals Market; the average spot alumina price in East China market increased from RMB 2,660/t on June 9 to stand at RMB 2,670/t.&nbsp; In the Central China Market, the average spot alumina price stands at RMB 2,670 /t, up from RMB 2,650 /t on June 9.</p> <p><img style="vertical-align: middle;" src="http://www.alcircle.com/uploads/images/north%20china.jpeg" alt="News" width="640" height="427" /></p> <p>The average spot alumina price in South China market remains unchanged from June 9 at RMB 2,610/t. In the North China Market, the average spot alumina price increased from RMB 2,650/t on June 9 to stand at RMB 2,670/t. Market price difference between North China and South China has increased to RMB 60/t today as average spot alumina price in South China market remains flat. &nbsp;</p> <p>Alumina prices from large scale alumina enterprises remain unchanged in last week after registering the last gain on June 5. &nbsp;Chalco alumina prices stand at RMB 2,650/t and are expected to move within a range of RMB 2,600 - 2,700/t.</p> <p>In the import market; average imported alumina price remains flat at RMB 2,800/t and it is expected to move within a range of RMB 2,770- 2,830/t. To sum up, average alumina prices in all the domestic markets are at per with each other except the South China market.</p> <p><img style="vertical-align: middle;" src="http://www.alcircle.com/uploads/images/raw%20materials.png" alt="News" width="640" height="480" /></p> <p>According to Shanghai Metals Market record, daily average price of Prebaked Anode remains flat in all the major China markets on June 12 2017. Average price of Prebaked Anode (TY-1) in East China market stands at RMB 3,825 per tonne, Prebaked Anode (TY-1) Northwest China price is RMB 3,900 per tonne, Prebaked Anode (TY-1) Southwest China price is RMB 3,500 per tonne, and Prebaked Anode (TY-1) Central China price is RMB 3,550 per tonne.</p> <p>{googleAdsense}</p> <p>Prices of other raw materials remain unchanged after a massive drop on June 7. Price of Cryolite (CH-0&amp;CH-1) is currently ranging at RMB 6,000-6,200 per tonne and the price of Aluminum Fluoride(AF-0&amp;AF-1) is expected to move within a range of 9,000- 9,200 per tonne.&nbsp;</p>
