Spot alumina prices in major China markets continue rising; A00 aluminium ingot prices drop

<p>Spot alumina prices in China are on an upward track and now continue to grow firm throughout all the major markets.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><img style="vertical-align: middle;" src="http://www.alcircle.com/uploads/images/china%20alumina1jun.png" alt="News" width="705" height="282" /></p> <p>As on June 1 2017, as reported by Shanghai Metals Market; the average spot alumina price in East China market increased from RMB 2,510 /t on May 31 to stand at RMB 2,550 /t.&nbsp; In the Central China Market, the average spot alumina price stands at RMB 2,540 /t, up from RMB 2,500 /t on May 31.</p> <p>The average spot alumina price in South China market increased from RMB 2,475/t on May 31 to stand at RMB 2,500/t today. In the North China Market, the average spot alumina price increased from RMB 2,495/t on May 31 to stand at RMB 2,530/t. Market price difference between north China and south China increased to RMB 30/t today from RMB 20/t yesterday.</p> <p>Alumina prices from large scale alumina enterprises remain unchanged in May. &nbsp;Chalco alumina prices stand at RMB 2,550/t and are expected to move within a range of RMB 2,500- 2,600/t.</p> <p>In the import market; average imported alumina price remains flat at RMB 2,800/t and it is expected to move within a range of RMB 2,770- 2,830/t.</p> <p>Currently, among the domestic markets, East China market has the highest alumina price, North China following close.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><img style="vertical-align: middle;" src="http://www.alcircle.com/uploads/images/A00%20ingot1june.png" alt="News" width="759" height="323" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The prices for A00 Aluminium Ingot for all provinces in the China markets (North, South, North-East and South-West) have registered a drop in last two days consecutively. Currently, among the domestic markets, A00 Aluminium Ingot at South China market dropped to RMB 13725/t from RMB 13,800/t on May 31. The price in North China market dropped to RMB 13,700/t from RMB 13,800/t. the price in East China market (Zhejiang) dropped to RMB 13,670/t on June 1 from RMB 13,760/t yesterday and for Jiangsu province it dropped to RMB 13,660/t on June 1 from RMB 13,735/t. For the Northeast China market, the price dropped to RMB 13,685/t on June 1 from RMB 13,775/t. For the Southwest China market, the price dropped to RMB 13,690/t on June 1 from RMB 13,780/t on May 31.</p> <p>{googleAdsense}</p> <p>A00 Aluminium Ingot in spot China market is trading at discounts of RMB 80-40/t.</p> <p>As on June 1, price for Aluminium Alloy (A380) in China stands at RMB 15,650/t and is expected to move within a range of RMB 15,550- 15,750/t over the day. Aluminium Alloy (A356) price stands at RMB 14,550/t and expected to move within a range of RMB 14,250- 14,350/t.</p>
