SMM A00 aluminium ingot price grows by RMB60/t; Low carbon aluminium price adds RMB47/t
On Thursday, June 27, China's A00 aluminium ingot price added RMB 60 per tonne to clock at RMB 20,120 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 100 to RMB 60 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 20,140 per tonne.
In Foshan and Tianjin, the prices have gained RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne, settling at RMB 19,910 per tonne and RMB 20,170 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Wuxi, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Shenyang and Linyi have increased by RMB 60 per tonne.
The price in Wuxi Hangzhou and Linyi settled at RMB 20,120 per tonne. Chongqing and Shenyang's prices arrived at RMB 20,040 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne. In Gongyi, the domestic aluminium ingot price hiked by RMB 50 per tonne to dock at RMB 19,970 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has settled at RMB 20,834 per tonne after witnessing a growth of RMB 47 per tonne. On the same day, the Australian alumina FOB price dipped by US$2 per tonne to peg at US$505 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has added RMB 50 per tonne to come in at RMB 20,600 per tonne, with the average prices expected to stand between RMB 20,400 per tonne and RMB 20,800 per tonne.
