The central European nation, Slovenia with GDP highly supported by industries like ferrous metallurgy and aluminium products, lead and zinc smelting, etc. The country exported 359,390 tonnes of alumina during 2018-20 and the earnings incurred from the export accounted for $187.16 million.

In 2018, Slovenia registered 68,780 tonnes of alumina and the earnings counted to $36.18 million, whereas, in 2019 the export revealed a notable growth by 120.13%, as the export demand surged to 151,409 tonnes and earnings also grew to $90.48 million.
Slovenia’s alumina export in 2020 was recorded at 139,201 tonnes, as demand slipped by 8.06% and the earnings also slashed to $60.50 million.
The export for 2021 is analysed again with growth by 1.51%, as the export volume is predicted to climb at 141,315 tonnes, while earnings stand at $58.14 million.
The major trading destinations for Slovenia’s export of alumina are Austria, Bulgaria, Brazil, Czech Rep., Croatia, Egypt, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, etc.
