Reynaers Aluminium Ltd. has devised a brilliant idea to curtail carbon emissions along its supply chain. As a part of this Reynaers Act, various science-based measures will be incorporated to achieve the company’s net zero goals.

Reynaers is a market leader in producing and supplying aluminium windows, doors or façades. The company has established how important it is to adapt to the ongoing technological changes in the industry.
The Reynaers Act can be regarded as the firm’s laid out protocol for curtailing carbon emissions along its production and supply segment. The company is already a well-known name in the aluminium extrusion industry with its thermally efficient, robust solutions that also keep a vigilant eye on the iota of carbon released into the atmosphere, causing pollution.
With the Reynaers Act, the firm wishes to slash scope one and two emissions by 46 per cent and scope three indirect emissions by 55 per cent through the last quarter of 2023. The company assures cutting down emissions from all of its existing operations alongside decreasing secondary emissions like the amount of fuel used.
Moreover, by 2024, Reynaers envisions doubling the range and quantity of Cradle to Cradle systems they offer by introducing digital passports and continuing to source low-carbon aluminium.
The Technical Services Director of Reynaers Aluminium UK, John McComb, exclaimed: “Product development and innovation is central to the Reynaers’ ethos. We are not a company that stands still. We have dedicated teams that constantly work to enhance and upgrade our products and processes.”
“The challenges of lowering the carbon footprint of the built environment are considered if we are to support reaching net zero. Measured, quantifiable targets are a transparent way to show how changes within the company can make a real impact,” he concluded.
