Reynaers Aluminium, one of the world's leading building solutions firms, makes its first foray into the South Korean market through Energy X, a sustainable architectural marketplace platform. The firm offers a wide range of building goods and is ranked among the top one to three in the globe.
Additionally, on April 6th, the two firms hosted a collaborative development MOU ceremony for a sustainable future of architecture. In response to climate change, the two firms will collaborate to establish a carbon-neutral design model and offer sustainable construction materials under this partnership.
“We are delighted and excited to be able to provide all of Reynaers’s world-leading products in Korea through the Energy X platform,” said Jurgen Cop, Reynaers’s Asia General Manager.
Energy X is an AI-powered online sustainable architecture platform company that supports and provides 100 percent of the construction process from design to construction, financing, supervision, and maintenance for new Zero Energy Buildings, Green Remodeling, Corporate Energy Transitions, and Renewable Energy Installations through a transparent online platform service.
“We shall lead Korea’s innovation in construction through Energy X’s sustainable architecture platform” said Jurgen Cop, the Asia General Manager of Reynaers Aluminium.
Energy X operates its Store on the platform to provide services so that construction owners and builders can easily acquire sustainable building supplies online in Korea. The two firms discussed their ambitions to aggressively use and trade innovations in their respective industries.
Energy X, a three-year-old firm that was named a K-Unicorn startup by the Korean government, currently has $960 million in projects under management on its platform. Through innovation in the sustainable building industry, Energy X is establishing an IT ecosystem that allows buildings to create and consume clean energy directly. As the first commercial net-zero energy building in Korea, Energy X is now constructing its headquarters, which will serve as a symbol for the Korean sustainable architectural scene.
“The closed and inconvenient construction market is rapidly expanding through our data-based transparent online services. And the sustainable building market is currently led by Energy X’s unique innovation,” said Co-CEO of Energy X, Sean Park.
