Qatalum set to showcase plant technology at ARABAL 2012

MENAFN reported that Qatalum's state of the art environment friendly smelting technologies will attract the attention of manufacturers and delegates attending 16th Arab International Aluminium Conference to be hosted by Qatar.

Qatalum said that ARABAL 2012 will be held at the Grand Hyatt here in Doha from November 19th to 21st 2012 under the patronage of HE the Minister of Energy and Industry, CMD of Qatar Petroleum Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada.

ARABAL is the premier trade event for the Middle East's Aluminium industry. The conference which will focus on the future of Aluminium and manufacturing industries market, technology and recycling, gives the Qatari smelter an opportunity to showcase its plant which has a production capacity of 585,000 tonnes of high quality primary Aluminium products per annum.

The visiting delegates will be taken on a field tour to Mesaieed Industrial City, where Qatalum's safety and environment model will be presented with the aim to raise awareness boost the conference s outputs, exchange experience and information and enhance communication among various industry players.

An official from Qatalum's communications department said that "Qatalum is giving top priority to this important event in terms of preparation and organization. The conference is diverse, rich and scheduled to host representatives of leading companies from the region and across the globe operating in this vital sector."
