Postle Aluminum Co. has announced plans to install two new aluminium extrusion presses at its new 230,000-square-foot facility in Howe, Indiana. The expansion will increase the company's extrusion capacity and support existing customers, new business opportunities and OEM partners.
{alcircleadd}The expansion includes a 10-inch extrusion press and a 7-inch extrusion press, both of which will be installed at a new 230,000-square-foot facility in Howe, Indiana. According to the company, the project is intended to support existing customers, expand into new markets and strengthen supply for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners.
Mark Smith, president of the company, said, “We’re making this investment now to ensure we have the capacity, capabilities and reliability to support their growth without interruption.” He also added, “When our customers are ready to go, we want to be ready to provide them with the solutions they need.”
The new 10-inch press will enable the production of larger and more complex aluminium profiles while improving efficiency on existing products. It will also allow the company to manufacture hard alloys, including 6061 aluminium, for applications requiring greater structural strength.

Equipment deliveries are expected to begin in summer 2026. Initial production is scheduled for early fall, while full production is expected by the end of 2026. The expansion will also create new manufacturing and skilled trade jobs.
Smith said, “This is a deliberate, forward-looking investment, and we’re not waiting for demand to peak before acting.” He added that the company is expanding capacity now, so it is prepared to meet future customer requirements.
